As a young man in Wisconsin, Scott developed an affinity for the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and his architecture school, Taliesin. Upon learning that Shirey Contracting was building a Taliesin-designed homes in the Seattle area, Scott joined the team and has been a great asset ever since.
